    About Breaking Down The Bracket

Doug McKinney, 33, is an award-winning journalist and owner of FeaturePresentationOnline.com. A native of Silver Spring, MD, McKinney is an avid Washington, D.C. sports fan (including a season ticket holder of the Washington Nationals). McKinney graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School (Wheaton, MD) in 2001, before moving on to Radford University (Radford, VA) where he graduated from in 2005 (on a 4-year plan foolishly).
He has appeared on numerous radio shows sharing his NCAA Basketball and Major League Baseball knowledge and opinions, as well as been featured in various newspapers, magazines and on websites. In addition to his site work for FP, he also serves as a TV producer for The Sports Junkies that simulcasts on Comcast SportsNet and 106.7 The Fan. Previously, he served as a Redskins field producer for CSN and produced various programs such as "Redskins Nation" and "The Baseball Show".
BDTB originated in early 2006. Throughout the year, McKinney posts what he thinks the NCAA tournament field would look like at that current time. A final projection bracket is released right before the real selections and seedings are announced on Selection Sunday. Below you can find his final bracket results, courtesy of The Bracket Matrix. (In years not shown, FPO final brackets were not published due to prior commitments)
